Following its immense success, the International Excellence Federation (IEF) was formed to provide a resourceful network for centers to share, contribute and exchange their opinions, data and results. During the trainings at Taiwan, Dr Amit Garg has performed more than 300 bariatric procedures which included gastric sleeve, Roux en Y gastric bypass, gastric banding, gastric plications, gastric sleeve with proximal jejunal bypass, loop duodenojejunal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy. He joined as a Director and Head of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery @ Fortis hospital, Mohali in 2014 and since then he has performed thousands of bariatric and metabolic procedures.
